More photo information

Irregular sized slabs of rock bound together with some sort of mortar are what the walls of Pueblo Bonito are made of.

Planned and built over generations and in stages between 850 AD and 1150 AD Pueblo Bonito is a great house built of rock and wood with walls towering to 4 or 5 stories high and as thick as 1 metre.
