St. Mary's Riverside Campground is an ideal spot for canoeing or any water sports as it sits right on the St. Mary's River, which runs alongside the town of Sherbrooke along the Marine Drive on Highway 7 in Nova Scotia.
At the end of a long day spent canoeing or setting up your tent in the campground or cooking dinner, there is really nothing better than relaxing at your campsite beside the water and taking in the superb Nova Scotia sunset that glistens and reflects off the St. Mary's River.
Canoeing is such a popular pastime of many people, not just those that are on holiday but many Canadians enjoy the benefits of canoeing whenever they can, especially if they live so close to such an amazing body of water as the St. Mary's River. You don't always have to have your own canoe, as there are lots of places that you can rent a canoe from and even have a small lesson if it is your first time taking to the open water. One of the many benefits of canoeing is that you can access places that you just can't get to on land, and viewing the diverse wildlife, flora and fauna from the viewpoint of the water gives you an entire new perspective on this wonderful world we live in.
