I photographed this photo of three resting bald eagles on a cold snowy day near Homer in Alaska. Homer is probably one of the very best destinations to photograph Bald Eagles in late winter.
I was surprised to see three adult bald eagles (scientific name: Haliaeetus leucocephalus) peaceful side by side, waiting for the snow storm to pass. The eagle to the very left still has some blood under its beak, most likely from a salmon it ate just before.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1DS, aperture of f/6.3, exposure time of 1/100 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 235mm.
