Photo: Puffin
The Atlantic Puffin is a small seabird which is the only puffin species found on the Atlantic Coast such as this one in Newfoundland, Canada.
A fascinating sea bird, the Atlantic Puffin spends the majority of its time out at sea only needing to return to land to burrow, lay their egg, and incubate the egg. A Puffin will catch fish by diving into the sea and using its wings to propel it underwater and its feet for rudders. It can remain underwater for up to a minute.
