From the shores of Lac Monroe in Parc national du Mont Tremblant, Quebec visitors can enjoy the splendors of nature at it's very best - untouched and wild!
Lac Monroe is situated in La Diable sector of the park and offers visitors on vacation a range of activities including rustic camping, canoeing, swimming, fishing, and cycling - during the summer months.
Parc national du Mont Tremblant is situated in the Canadian Shield which covers much of Canada. It goes without saying then that the park is a nature lovers vacation paradise. Come fall, the trees which carpet the hills and valleys are ablaze with bright autumn colours, while during winter visitors can explore the park under a blanket of white by snowshoes, or on cross and back country skis.
Although Parc national du Mont Tremblant is a year round vacation destination, there are a few facilities such as information kiosks which are closed between September or October until May or June each year.
