If this is what paradise is truly supposed to be like, then Te Pukatea Bay on the South Island of New Zealand is the ideal location to venture too. The sandy beach of this bay and the turquoise colored water surrounded by lush green forests is only imaginable in your dreams.There are only two ways into the bay of paradise and that is by kayak or a half hour walk that departs off the established Abel Tasman Walk. There are guided kayak trips of different lengths that you can take to Te Pukatea Bay. These are mainly geared for the adventurous type of tourist that would like to see the true beauty of the South Island of New Zealand and what is has to offer.This is not the only bay that is considered to be paradise on the South Island of New Zealand. While kayaking in the waters that encompass Abel Tasman National Park there are many bays for you to discover and each one has its own special paradise.
