Olive tree wood is a hard wood with a beautiful grain and an unique odour. There are many kinds of olive tree woods from countries all over the world, but the Spanish wood is one of the most popular.
The lovely olive wood baskets for sale at a market near Guadalest in the Province of Alicante, Spain are all different in size and shape because they are hand-carved. At 40 euros one of these baskets would be a wonderful, useful memento from this area of Spain.
Situated at the top of a pass along a windy narrow road, this market stall seemed to appear from nowhere in an isolated and remote area in the Province of Alicante, Spain.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, aperture of f/5.6, exposure time of 1/800 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 173mm.
