This Humpback Whale, megaptera novaeangliae, was foraging in the Strait of Belle Isle, off the shores of Newfoundland in Canada, during sunset. After 6 to 7 breaths at the water surface the whale took a deep dive displaying its beautiful tale fluke just as the sunset over Newfoundland. The colours during this sunset were diffused by the clouds in the sky and reflected over the ocean.
I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1DS, aperture of f/5.6, exposure time of 499999/100 sec. on ISO 200, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 100mm.
