From the top of the Whitecliffs at the North Taranaki Bight in New Zealand, where you are surrounded by farmland, the scenery is breathtaking as you look out over the Tasman Sea and the beauty of Mt. Taranki/Mt. Egmont. A volcano adorned with a cone peak, Mt. Taranaki is known as the second highest mountain on the North Island of New Zealand.Watching the sunset hues takeover the sky, a yellow glow spans the mountain range which reaches 2,518 meters as snow scatters itself across the peak glistening in the lighting. For the adventurous types, a wide range of activities are offered on Mt. Taranaki, but for the calmer travellers, the sunset scenery is more than anyone can ask for.Mt Taranaki / Mt Egmont seen from the north end of the Northern Taranaki Bight at sunset, Taranaki, West Coast, North Island, New Zealand.
