A statue of the famous composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart situated in the Burggarten in Vienna, Austria.

A memorial in the form of a statue of the great composer Mozart is found in the Burggarten in downtown Vienna, Austria. An interesting setting as the statue is surrounded by bedding plants laid in the form of a musical clef. The Burggarten contains many monuments to famous people including the statue of W.A. Mozart, Emperor Franz Joseph I and also Goethe. The pose struck by Mozart in the statue, which was created in 1896, depicts a scene from Don Giovanni. The Burggarten was formerly part of the Kaiser's private garden and adjoins the Butterfly House and The Greenhouse "Palmenhaus".
