Mount Stevens is seen here at sunset and the rest of this stunning scenery is comprised of the Coastal Mountain Range and Malcolm Island in BC. This view is taken from Vancouver Island overlooking the Broughton Strait. The sunset has turned the sky a glorious soft pink colour and makes the mountain range look almost magical, as if it belongs in a fantasy world.
This area of Vancouver Island is known for its natural beauty and its uninhabited natural wonder and visitors can come here to hike or camp and take advantage of the scenery and all it has to offer. What is so attractive about this region is the fact that it has something to offer everyone, as can be seen in this view. A popular boating and fishing destination, Northern Vancouver Island is nature lovers paradise.
In the middle between the mainland and Vancouver Island (in this picture) is Malcolm Island which was first a Finnish settlement and also contains some varied wildlife.
