The village of Morella in Valencia, Spain in Europe is enclosed by a medieval stone wall in which you go through this large gateway to enter or leave the village. There are six other gates located around this ancient wall and to date they are all still in amazingly good condition.

This small village is built on a huge rock at 1,072 meters above sea level and the view from every direction of the village overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. The major official language of the village of Morella in Spain is Castilian Spanish so be prepared to brush up on your basic words when visiting this unique village in Valencia, Spain.

There are only two places in the world that are tagged the "city wall" and one of them is Morella and the other is Templin. Once you enter the village of Morella in Valencia, Spain you will find a whole new world filled with intriguing history.
