The major means of transportation between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland is the Marine Atlantic Ferry services which operate several services on the East Coast of Canada. During the winter months the service between Sydney, Nova Scotia and Port Aux Basques on Newfoundland is the only ferry available.
The M/V Caribou pulling away in reverse from the ferry terminal in North Sydney, Nova Scotia with its bow visor being lowered at the same time. The M/V Caribou carries passengers and vehicles between Cape Breton Island (North Sydney) in Nova Scotia to Port aux Basques in Newfoundland, Canada.
I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/7.1, exposure time of 1/125 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 28mm.
