The green water of Lake Ngakoro in Wai-o-tapu Thermal Wonderland in New Zealand remains calm as the cloudy sky and volcanic landscape reflects across the surface.
While standing on the banks of Lake Ngakoro, a strong aroma of sulphur hangs around in the air from the geothermal activity happening underground.Three different trails which are self-guided, take visitors on a tour around the Wai-o-tapu Thermal Wonderland, one being the Ngakoro Loop Track which is the longest of the three. Here you will pass the beauty of Lake Ngakoro, a trek which takes approximately two hours.Lake Ngakoro along the Ngakoro Loop Track at the Wai-o-tapu Thermal Wonderland, Wai-o-tapu Scenic Reserve, Rotorua, Bay of Plenty, North Island, New Zealand.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/8.0, exposure time of 1/80 sec. on ISO 50, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 24mm.
