The Kaministiquia River plunges over the 40 metre high waterfall.The Kakabeka Falls are situated in the the Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park of Ontario and it is the highest waterfall in northern Ontario.The Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park is a fabulous outdoor recreational park providing great hiking trails, camping, swimming plus great cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobile trails during the winter. The falls can be viewed year round and offer a stunning scene during the spring thaw.
