The sun twinkles off the tips of the ice frosted trees which are found throughout the wilderness of the Wildgerlos Valley in Salzburger Land, Austria. The landscape is beautiful at this time of year as each of the trees, the waterways and mountain peaks sparkle on a sunny winter day.Every winter season in the Wildgerlos Valley can be different depending on how far below zero the temperatures drop. It is a sure sign that it is still very cold in the valley when the trees give the appearance of being frosted from the ice formations. This winter beauty is ideal for a photographer as the landscape is usually left untouched except by the wildlife.Frosted trees fringing an alpine river in the Wildgerlostal (Wildgerlos Valley), Salzburger Land, Austria, Europe.
