It is a strange sight to see a solitary tree growing atop these rock cliffs in the town of Guadalest in the Province of Alicante in Comunidad Valenciana in Spain, Europe. The facade of the cliffs has various sections where some greenery flourishes and other spots which are bare but the tree seems to enjoy its solitude.The village of Guadalest is located in its own unique location on the higher elevations of a granite mountain. Surrounded by rock cliffs, the town itself is nestled away in the mountainous valley making the scenery from Guadalest breathtaking. You can see for miles across the landscape as you look down on a few small villages located in the river valley.Getting to the village of Guadalest in the Province of Alicante in Comunidad Valenciana, Spain is quite a journey as you drive along a twisting road on a continuous upwards slope. Once you arrive, you will see how close you are to the top of the rock cliffs, but most people leave the rest of the trek to the more adventurous types and just enjoy the quaintness of Guadalest in Comunidad Valenciana, Spain.There is plenty to see while in the village of Guadalest, such as the history that revolves around the historic castles and museums. Small craft and souvenir shops are worth browsing through where you can buy unique items only made in Guadalest. I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, aperture of f/14.0, exposure time of 1/10 sec. on ISO 50, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 200mm.
