There are several gravel roads in Joshua Tree National Park, which provide access to some beautiful desert scenery. Joshua Trees are prolific in this national park which forms part of the Mojave Desert in California.
The gravel road pictured here is a well graded desert road. It winds its way towards a series of foothills and offers stunning views of a hazy mountain range behind.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, aperture of f/13.0, exposure time of 1/60 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 200mm.
