The magnificent Gothic portal of the Basilica de Santa Maria la Mayor in Morella, Valencia in Spain, is decorated with fine statues of 'Los Apostoles' and 'Las Virgenes', the Apostles and Virgins. The Santa Maria la Mayor Church, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, was constructed during the 13th and 14th centuries and is considered one of the most important churches within the Valencian community.
The 15th century choir is unusual because it is elevated and isolated, and the baroque organ, built in the early 18th century, has 3,451 pipes. Apart from the outstanding entrance, there is a museum and archives including sculptures, paintings and other religious items.
