The Ottawa Tulip Festival is an annual spring event held in the city of Ottawa, Ontario. These flower pictures are taken in Commissioners Park where every variety of tulip can be seen in a number of colourful displays. The festival is a great place to spend the day especially if you are a flower enthusiast and a photographer.

The tulip festival is in honour of Queen Juliana of the Netherlands who is remembered for her gift of tulips to the Canadian people. The Canadian Tulip Festival is held every spring normally in May in Ottawa, Ontario Canada.
