This fawn sits peacefully in the forest amongst the Autumn leaves in Parc Omega in Quebec, Canada allowing visitors to capture a cute picture. This fawn is not very old as you can see in its young looking facial characteristics, the soft appearance of its fur and the smallish size of its ears and body.
Fall has just started to settle in around Parc Omega in Quebec, Canada, meaning that this fawn will soon learn to survive in the colder months. After the first winter, the fawn will not be considered a baby any more as come Spring, its mother will be ready to give birth to another fawn which she will care for.
As this fawn makes sure of its surroundings and listens carefully for any strange noises, it still seems pretty relaxed while enjoying the quietness of the afternoon. The mother deer is not too far away in the forest of Parc Omega and the fawn knows this. Its mother is the only security blanket this fawn has and losing it is not a chance that is willing to be taken by either the mother or the fawn.
While driving through Parc Omega in Montebello, Quebec in Canada, this picture is just one example of the cute animals which you will see. The larger and braver deer will come right up to your window in Parc Omega, but the fawn is likely to stay back until it has a chance to figure out what life is all about. Always be prepared while visiting Parc Omega and be ready to snap a picture at any given moment as you never know where the next animal will appear from.
