These unique earth pyramids are found near a small quaint village known as Ritten in South Tirol, Italy. To view these pyramids is an experience in itself and you will find yourself amazed at what wonderful things mother nature can conjure up.
Earth pyramids were more than likely developed many centuries ago due to the deterioration and climate conditions surrounding the area. Earth pyramids vary on the length of their lifetime depending on how the weather affects the stone covered pillars before they collapse.
If travelling through Europe, there are few different destinations to view these earth pyramids and to take some photos of the fascinating creations that can be constructed by different types of weather.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/6.3, exposure time of 1/125 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 200mm.
