Eroded, rounded hills and hoodoos are just some of the land formations to see in Bisti Wilderness Area. The Bisti Badlands are set deep in the desert of New Mexico, USA.
Erosion is the main reason for many of the land formations in Bisti, which was once an ancient sea. Over many millennia the land has gone through many changes from becoming a lush river valley to an arid desert where wind and rain has worked to etch out the hidden land and rock formations.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, aperture of f/20.0, exposure time of 1/6 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 70mm.
