Graceful and pretty, Angels are iconic figures which are traditionally featured during the christmas season. They are iconic because they have been involved in christmas from the beginning as messengers and when they heralded the birth of Christ, and since then Angels have become a welcome addition in the homes of many christian families. Angels are seen as symbols of purity, innocence, and virtue.
Today Angels appear in many different forms during the christmas holiday season - bright yard lights forming the outline of an angel with a trumpet, looking over a christmas nativity scene, mantle ornaments or table decorations, and the most common is an angel sitting atop a christmas tree.
A vast array of angels were on display at the annual Christmas Markets in the pretty old town district of Regensburg in Bavaria, Germany and these two beautiful white and gold Angels epitomize their image of purity and innocence.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon PowerShot G9, aperture of f/3.5, exposure time of 1/100 sec. on ISO 200, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 12.733mm.
