As sunset settles in around Castlepoint, Wairarapa in New Zealand, the beacon atop the Castlepoint Lighthouse flashes brightly across the surrounding waters. Up until 1988, the lighthouse was manned by a keeper, but it is now automatically controlled by all the latest electronic equipment.Sunset at Castlepoint Lighthouse which overlooks the lagoon and bay, Castlepoint, Wairarapa, North Island, New Zealand.
I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/11.0, exposure time of 8/1 sec. on ISO 50, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 130mm.
