The Blakiston Valley in Southern Alberta, Canada is located in Waterton Lakes National Park and during the summer months the greenery flourishes across the landscape. The Blakiston Creek creates a pathway breaking up the landscape and the Canadian Rocky Mountains run the length of the valley.Atop the Canadian Rocky Mountains, the warm sun has melted a majority of the snow but the peaks still blanketed, sparkle in the sunlight. During the spring and summer months, the Blakiston Valley in Southern Alberta, takes on a whole new aroma as flowers and trees thrive and emit a spectacular natural aroma. This area is also known as "Where the Mountains Meet the Prairies" and here in the Blakiston
Valley, you can see that there is no gradual slope up the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The landscape suddenly comes to a halt and the sides of the mountains rise straight up to great heights. While traveling through Southern Alberta, take up camp at the Crandell Campground located in the centre of the Blakiston Valley for a night or two. The scenery of the Canadian Rocky Mountains is amazing and as you hike through Waterton Lakes National Park keep a lookout for wildlife.Blakiston Creek running through the Blakiston Valley in Waterton Lakes National Park, Southern Alberta, Alberta, Canada.
