With growing popularity of snowmobiles during the 1960's, the Canadian Eskimo dog species was nearing extinction by the 1970's and in need of rescue from their demise.

A project was initiated in order to rescue the species in the 1970's and by 1986 the first dogs were being registered with the Canadian Kennel Club.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/6.3, exposure time of 1/500 sec. on ISO 200, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 260mm.
