During the first two weeks of its life, a baby harp seal will spend around 80 percent of its time resting and sleeping and only around 5 percent of its time interacting with its mother. This cute 3 day old baby seal will be weaned from its mothers milk after only two weeks once it has tripled in size, then begin to moult its beautiful white fur coat.
