The water of the Bellos River appears as a moss green color as it flows between the rock cliffs of the Anisclo Canyon in Huesca, Aragon in Spain. During the warmer months, the level of the river is fairly low and to cool off while hiking through the Anisclo Canyon, you can sit on the rocks under the shade with your feet in the water.
The light green coloring to the trees that grows along the cliffs over the river, blends in beautifully with the scenery of the canyon. You can look up river and see how the Rio Bellos meanders its way through nature's miracles.
Hiking through Anisclo Canyon in Aragon, Spain is magnificent but you must be aware that the climate can become very hot during the summer and proper hiking supplies should be kept close by. In areas along the river, the cliffs can reach astounding heights and the heat gets caught between these canyon walls.
The Rio Bellos is not shallow and calm like these along its entire journey as many places throughout the Anisclo Canyon, water rushes pass the rock cliffs at great speeds and force. Beautiful waterfalls are visible but safety should always be your first concern and approaching the fast moving river at a close range could lead to a disaster.
When hiking around the region of the Anisclo Canyon in Aragon, Spain, be well prepared and do not forget to pack your camera. Some unbelievable scenery is found in Parque Nacional y Monte Perdido in Aragon, Spain and even though it is in your mind, it is nice to look back on these pictures and be reminded that a return trip could be possible.
