Float Air Planes used in Northern Vancouver Island

The DeHavilland Beaver Float Air Planes are still heavily used on Northern Vancouver Island. The "Beaver" is one of the "great Bush Air Planes. Reliable and hard working, these Planes will go nearly anywhere. There is nothing quite like the sound of the Beaver as it takes off with its heavy load. Even once in the air it is hard to have a conversation, but they are a great plane.
