Time spent in the Rocky Mountains is time that is never forgotten, whatever the season. Hiking in the summer can take the visitor to wondrous alpine meadows, overflowing with blooms. The Fall brings with it touches of gold to the trees and calm reflections in the still waters of sapphire and emerald lakes. Winter cloaks the scenery in silvery frost and blue shaded snow, providing a perfect surface to follow animal tracks. Spring, with her promise of renewal, sees the buds spring forth on the branches of the trees and the plants around the lakes and rivers poke their leaves up through the snow in hope. Whatever the season, the Rocky Mountains scenery offers the artist or the photographer a multitude of views.
