Bear Watching

A popular vacation activity is bear watching in Alaska and British Columbia.

There are many operators of bear watching tours throughout North America and northern Europe. It is also a pleasure to do a spot of bear watching from public accessible viewing platforms such as at Fish Creek in Hyder, Alaska near the border to Stewart in British Columbia.In Katmai National Park, Alaska elevated platforms provide a safe brown bear watching experience overlooking the famous Brooks Falls.
