Bonaventure Island is home to gannet colonies as well as various species of birds including that of the puffin. These cliffs reach heights of approximately two hundred and fifty meters and the birds find this island the ideal place to nest and breed.
Tour boats are available that can take you to both Perce Rock and Bonaventure Island in the Gaspesie Peninsula in Quebec. It is hard to beat a day like this in the Gaspesie Peninsula when the sunset is a picture of natural beauty as Perce Rock sits in the centre of the peaceful waters.
