Paparoa National Park supports an extensive ecosystem from the surrounding mountain tops to the coast. With mostly a base of limestone, the park is full of interesting land formations from deep river canyons, to bizzare layered plate formations like those of the Pancake Rocks. I could have spent many days in the Paparoa National Park, with its diverse landscape - a photographers playground!
