The Columbia River and its gorge create a natural northern border between Oregon and Washington States, while Brookings in the south marks the southern most coastal town along the 365 mile (587 kilometres) Oregon Pacific West Coast.

Historic seafront resort towns with their drift wood strewn beaches, massive sand dunes, lighthouses, and the awe inspiring coastline where constant tides and swells chip away at the rugged coastal rocks are a few of the features which epitomizes the Oregon Coast.

A unique activity during a vacation in Lincoln City, situated along the coast of Oregon, is a glass blowing demonstration in the pretty historic Taft District. A spot of beach combing may turn up a beautifully created glass float.
