The Legislative Building in the City of Regina, Saskatchewan, is a landmark which adorns the south side shores of Wascana Lake. The building was built between 1908 and 1912 in a cross shape formation with the dome tower reaching a height of 53 meters. On a clear Regina night, the lights on and around the Legislative Building show their colorful reflections in the stillness of Wascana Lake.
During the day, the Legislative Building is open to the public where a half hour guided tour takes you through the Legislative Chamber and six small art galleries. These tours run every half hour and while waiting, there is a touch screen presentation to watch in the main entrance.
