Land Sailing is a very exciting outdoor activity to learn and can be enjoyed by people from many walks of life. The only thing that is really a necessity in the sport besides the equipment, is the wind, and the more wind, the faster you can go.
It is an extremely safe sport as each sailer has a safety belt attached and leg straps. It is recommended that a helmet, gloves and especially eye protection be part of the attire needed for land sailing as flying sand can be a hazard.
