The National Library and Ephesus Museum of Vienna, Austria are located at Hofburg Palace and this picture is a fine example of the incredible architecture of this historic building. Statues stand on the ledge of the building with a majestic display in the center of the roof where the flag is flown.
Inside the building at the National Library, the largest one in Austria, you will find a collection of over 7.4 million items. A very extensive list with a few of them which include manuscripts, rare books that are very old, maps, globes, portraits, music and posters. The interior is adorned with high wooden shelfs, statues, large pillars, golden trim and a fresco that is incredible, painted on the domed roof.
This part of the building is where the Ephesus Museum is also located. Here you can journey through time and view Greek and Roman Antiques as well as architectural samples and sculptures from a refuge of a mysterious cult that was dug up by Austrian archaeologists between 1873 and 1875. There are suits of armor, shields and equipment used by the knights that fought the many battles in the early years.
The Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria where both these interesting tourist attractions are found, displays architecture that starts from Gothic to the late 19th century. The building itself is located in the downtown core of Vienna, Austria and stretches for a few city blocks. It is easy to spend a whole day or two touring the Hofburg Palace as the National Library is exquisite and the Ephesus Museum is very intriguing. These are just two of the areas that are found throughout this architectural masterpiece.
