Other purchase options for Muskoka Ontario Boat Cruises
Enjoy a beautiful scenic boat cruise on Lake Muskoka in Ontario, Canada aboard one of the three water vessels that dock at Sagamo Park. The R.M.S. Segwun (Royal Mail Ship Segwun) is the oldest steamship in North America that is still running and leaves the dock on a daily basis.
This boat was built in 1887 when roads were non existent and the RMS Segwun would carry passengers, mail and freight to all the small towns and villages that were unreachable. Needing some major restorations in 1925 and then again in 1973, the boat was restored by some steamboat followers and come the summer of June, 1974, the R.M.S. Segwun was completed and became used for boat cruises on Muskoka Lakes.
Apart from the daily tours on Muskoka Lakes in Ontario, private functions, breakfast, lunch and dinner cruises can be booked as well on the R.M.S. Segwun. The boat cruises in the months from June through to October every year and can carry a total of ninety-nine passengers. The R.M.S. Segwun is truly a unique steamship where history takes you back in time.
Two other boats (Wenonah II and Wanda III) have been added to the fleet which gives tourists a better chance of being able to book for one of the many boat cruises offered on Muskoka Lakes in Ontario, Canada.
R.M.S. Segwun, Muskoka, Ontario, Canada, North America.
