The scenery from the top of the 350 meter track that overlooks Motuarohia (Roberton) Island in New Zealand is breathtaking. Two people that have made it up the long trek which started at the main beach, rest on the bench enjoying the beauty of the area.
On one side of the Motuarohia Roberton Island in New Zealand, there is a bay where aqua colored water laps up along the shore. Boats can easily anchor here as the water is calm but on the opposite side of the island, the water is a darker hue and the coastline is made up of rough rugged rocks.
On a clear day, you can see for miles across the horizon where rolling hillsides make up the landscape that surrounds Motuarohia (Roberton) Island on the North Island of New Zealand. On your journey to the top of the island, there are a variety of viewpoints that are excellent places to stop and takes pictures of the spectacular scenery.
You can easily spend the day at Motuarohia Roberton Island when visiting the North Island of New Zealand as swimming, snorkeling and water skiing are great outdoor activities to partake in on the calm side of the island. Some people will kayak to the rough side of the island, but this is not a wise choice in rough waters, you are best to stay on land amongst the greenery.
The North Island of New Zealand is full of surprises, but the scenery around Motuarohia (Roberton) Island is exceptional.
