Moresby Island BC

Although The Queen Charlotte Islands in BC, Canada are made up of more than 150 islands, the main two are Graham Island and Moresby Island.

The Queen Charlotte Islands, situated in northern BC, are known as the Galapagos of the North with outstanding natural beauty and culture. On Moresby Island, the second largest island of the Queen Charlottes, is Mosquito Lake which features a campsite, recreation area, and boat ramp. The lake is a popular fishing spot and is where the Family Trout Derby is held each year in May. The only town site on Moreseby Island is Sandspit - the gateway to the Gwaii Haanas National Park of BC.
