The lifespan of a Cotton Topped Tamarin in the wild is usually between twelve and fifteen years and it grows to be around the size of a squirrel which is approximately ten to eighteen ounces in weight. The smallest of the monkey species with an average body length of about seventeen centimeters without the tail and about twenty-five if you include the tail.
