The Milford Sound Track is a 53.5 kilometre or 33 mile hiking track situated in the heart of the Fiordland National Park. Beginning at the head of Lake Te Anau, the Milford Sound Track is known as one of the finest walks in the world and approximately 14,000 people complete the hike each year. Following the track, you pass through lush forests, sub-alpine scrub, passing by many wonderful native flora, and fauna. Milford Sound Track is a must do for outdoor enthusiasts and those who enjoy adventure travel.
