The moss covered boulders at the bottom of Marokopa Falls in New Zealand, make up part of the natural greenery that makes the beauty of this waterfall more impressive. The mist rises above the waterfall as the water cascades over the thirty-six foot drop creating a mystical impression.
Venturing to the bottom of the waterfall is easily accessible but mud and moss overlaid on the rocks can make each step a challenge. The view of Marokopa Falls is not the best from this position but the rushing water separated by the massive boulders creates a magical picture.
