When the tide is out, the marine plants come to life along the coastal shores of Curio Bay, Otago on the South Island of New Zealand. Bright yellow colors of bull kelp radiate the shore as they intertwine themselves waiting for high tide. Be careful where you step when walking along the bull kelp, as many marine sea creatures hide beneath the plants that have also been swept up with the water.
