Manu Bay on the west coast of the North Island of New Zealand is also known as the "Point" and is one of the most surfed spots throughout the region of Raglan. The left hand surf breaks over large boulders and rocks and the waves are outstanding for surfing.
When the tide is out the beach is rocky and the seaweed disperses along the water's edge. At high tide the turquoise water reaches the green banks along Manu Bay and the banks are perfect to rest upon to admire the scenery that surrounds Manu Bay on the North Island.
Summer brings in lots of tourists who love to surf and on a good day the waters bring in excellent waves and the area is full of surfers. Because of the rocky shores of Manu Bay, you must be extremely careful when heading in especially at low tide.
