The Point Amour Lighthouse in L'Anse Amour in Southern Labrador, Canada took three years to build which started in 1854 and it was not fully completed until 1857. The light was not officially lit until 1858 and then this building became home to a few lightkeepers. Now the Armour Point lighthouse is considered a historic site that visitors to L'Anse Amour in Southern Labrador can view and tour through while visiting this unique community.
