The construction of the Legislature Building in Edmonton, Alberta took place between 1907 and 1913 and was created in the Beaux Arts style. The building itself stands about 180 feet high and costs soared to about four million dollars upon completion.
This style of building has a large dome in the center which towers above a rotunda, with both sides of the building extending outwards to form the shape of a tee.
