The gardens of the Legislative Building in Winnipeg are huge, colourful, and contain many different varieties of flowers. Some of them are arranged into a flower and rock garden, like the one in the picture, which is in support of the Canadian Troops, and is a constant monument to them.

Manitoba's Legislative Building accommodates the legislative assembly, its committees, and the offices for the ministers and deputy ministers of all the government departments. The building was planned to be a huge and imposing symbol for the capital city and any visitor can see that when they visit there.
