This beautiful field of lavender bushes is ready for harvesting! Situated on the North Island of New Zealand near the dairy farming town of Te Awamutu, the lavender flowers in this field will be distilled resulting in pure lavender oil. The pure essential lavender oil is then used in the production of various creams, lotions, or sprays. It was a wonderful sight to see this lavender field in full bloom!
